Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 21, 2026
This policy explains what information The Gentle Years ("we," "us") collects when you visit this website, and how we use it. We keep things simple and collect as little as possible.
Email signups
If you sign up on our site (for example, to get our free Large-Print 2027 Calendar), we collect your email address, along with which signup form you used and the page you were on. We don't ask for your name.
Signups are stored in a private Google Sheet that we operate (Google provides the storage, under its own privacy and security practices). We use your email address only to send you the free download link and occasional emails with gift ideas and printables. We never sell, rent, or share your email address with anyone else for their marketing.
You can unsubscribe at any time, and every email we send will tell you how. To unsubscribe or to have your email address deleted from our list, contact us (see "Contact" below) and we'll remove it.
Cookies and affiliate links
This site doesn't set its own advertising cookies. However, our gift guides link to Amazon. We plan to participate in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. Once we join, we may earn from qualifying purchases made through our Amazon links, at no extra cost to you. When you click an Amazon link, Amazon may place cookies in your browser so that purchases can be credited to the referring site. Those cookies are controlled by Amazon and are covered by Amazon's Privacy Notice.
Hosting and basic analytics
Our website host may automatically log basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit, for security and performance. We may use privacy-friendly analytics to understand which pages are helpful. This information isn't used to identify you personally.
If you arrive from or click through to Pinterest, Pinterest's own privacy policy applies to your activity on Pinterest.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time, block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and contact us to access or delete the information we hold about you.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "last updated" date above.
